What is SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll?
It is SAP’s cloud payroll solution. It takes employee data from Employee Central and calculates pay using wage types, schemas and payroll rules.
How is it different from Employee Central?
Employee Central holds the core HR data, such as people, jobs and organisation. Employee Central Payroll uses that data to calculate pay and produce payroll results.
Do I need SAP or payroll experience?
It helps, but it is not required. We start with the basics of payroll and the system before moving to configuration.
Will we work on wage types and schemas?
Yes. Wage types, schemas and payroll rules (PCRs) are a central part of the course, along with payroll runs and results.
How long is the course, and when does it start?
It is 2 months of live training, followed by a free bonus month of placement support. A new batch starts every Monday.
Are the classes live or recorded?
Classes are live and online, led by me. You also get class recordings, so you can revise or catch up on a missed session.
What happens in the bonus placement month?
We help with resume optimization, interview preparation and job search guidance. We prepare you well, but we do not promise a job.
